On to pulling series and understanding how to read the site.

LET’S PULL SOME COMICS

Step 1: Time to Start This Journey Off Right

Alright, so we are on the home page/dashboard, that’s a good place to start our journey. Let’s click on the “Search” button on the left-hand side of the page.

Step 2: Let’s Search for the Series I Want

Let’s search for the Ultimate Spider-Man series and pull that comic moving forward. Once we are in the Search page, type in “Ultimate Spider-Man” to populate all of the most recent issues, series and characters. Once these populate, let’s click on the “Ultimate Spider-Man, 2024 – Present” option to bring up this volume’s run.

Step 3: Pulling The Series (Main Covers)

Time to pull the series! Once you have selected the series you want to pull, simply click on the green button that says “Pull Series”. This will trigger your account to pull the selected series and send it over to our store so that we can order your copy and hold it for you come release day! How easy was that!

Frequently Asked Questions / Defining The Page

What if I want to pull a Variant cover and not the main cover, can I do that?
Absolutely, when you select the “Pull Series” button the website will automatically pull all of the main covers for you. If you want to pull a variant cover, simply click on the green button where it says “Pull It” and then go to the Variant cover you want click on the cover to bring it up, once you are on the variants page select the same “Pull It” button to pull the variant cover instead of the main cover.

What is Final Order Cutoff and why is it important?
Oh man, what a banger of a question. FOC or Final Order Cutoff is insanely important in the world of comics. This is the date that Retailers have to have their orders in by so that we can guarantee that you get your copy of the book. If a book is pulled AFTER this date, there is no guarantee that we can get you this book by release date. Furthermore, any ratios MUST be ordered before the FOC Date otherwise they are cut off and retailers cannot order them.

What is the difference between Open Order Covers, Incentive Covers, Reprints and Retailer Exclusive Covers?
You’re making me so proud with these amazing questions. Let’s break down each cover a bit further shall we.

Open Order Covers – These covers are the ones that a retailer can order freely before the FOC Date, in some cases retailers are able to order after FOC DEPENDING on the print run or if extra copies were printed.

Incentive Covers – These covers are the fun ones! Think of these like chase covers, you can have a 1:10, 1:25, 1:50, 1:100, heck even a 1:500! Simply put, retailers have to order x amount to get the 1 copy of this book. You will typically pay more for incentive covers and you MUST make sure to order these before the FOC Date or the chase is on!

Reprints – These covers are simply what they suggest, either a second print run or a facsimile. At times, some books get crazy expensive so publishers will print facsimiles which is essentially a replica of the book.

Retailer Exclusive Covers – These covers are available by certain retailers or artists so they are not readily available for retailers to purchase.
